Bossi's Automotive of Winchester, Massachusetts is proud to offer this 1956 DeSoto S24 Fireflite convertible. the body is finished in gorgeous metallic plum with black and the interior is two-tone white and black leather. this DeSoto has been through a not and bolt frame off restoration and is an excellent example of authenticity and perfection. It is in concourse quality condition. All components of this car were restored or replaced. Including all rust was removed in new body panels fitted.The body was stripped to bare metal and primed and painted to concourse quality. The powertrain was completely rebuilt the factory specifications including engine. The interior was replaced with leather as per factory specs including soft top.The chrome was refinished to concourse quality using copper, nickel and chrome.The restoration was performed by SLR automotive restorations of Pinehurst, North Carolina. The multiyear restoration process was completed in 2005 and this vehicle remains in that condition. We have a 21 page receipt detailing the scope of this restoration.
